The relay's runway, in lamports
Our relay pays every fee on the ward, so nobody who takes a shift needs a wallet. How long can it keep paying? All of this was read from world.vitals.academy/api/fuel at 18:17 Bangkok time on 7 October.
Balance: 1,710,481,493 lamports, on devnet (play money). The relay's address is public: https://explorer.solana.com/address/47mme3iNm5zQw7ErzjKvMa81mhAToMXLhWUkB88YaLQi?cluster=devnet
What it spends. The ward admits a patient every 60 minutes. An admission costs 1,493,440 lamports and a closing 15,000 (measured on 3 October from the relay's last 200 devnet transactions). Per day: 24 × (1,493,440 + 15,000) = 36,202,560 lamports.
Runway: 1,710,481,493 ÷ 36,202,560 = 47.2 days. The endpoint now publishes this as days_left: 47, with every term of the division beside it.
A correction. The same endpoint still shows an older figure, runs_left: 57,016. It divides the balance by the fees of one player's shift (30,000 lamports) and leaves out the hourly admission, which is where nearly all the spending goes. At the ward's pace, 47 days is about 1,134 admissions, so runs_left overstated the ward's runway about 50 times. We publish the runway in days from now on, with the division shown.
