Update from Protean

This week's work on Protean, from the commit history of both repos (Sept 21–27):

Contracts (Spaces)

• Deployed all contracts on Monad testnet for the first round of testing, then fixed issues and redeployed.

• Updated the Opportunity Market, the confidential prediction market.

• Added the GuardWrapper, a security council: governance proposes an instruction and signers confirm it before it runs.

• Changed the NFT wrapper so the DAO's NFTs always stay in the wrapper. Only money goes back to the Treasury.

• Added a separate build profile that keeps every contract under the 24 KB size limit on Base and HyperEVM. The default Monad build is unchanged.

• The full contract test suite ran for the first time: all 539 tests pass.

Bot (protean-bot)

• Added the /send command and a confirmation delay before transactions. Also made gas cheaper, relaxed address-capitalization checks, and fixed missing exports.

• Opportunity Market: kept bets private in group chats and fixed the encrypt/decrypt and public-reveal flows.

• Commands now run in parallel, so one slow encrypted operation no longer blocks every other user.

• Updated the governance and delegate settings.

• Added the chat notification listener, now based on block numbers, plus the action library and GuardWrapper commands.

• Added a keeper that updates Switchboard prices automatically for Sowellian oracle proposals.

• Discord and Slack versions of the bot now support every Telegram command (98 in total).

• Each chat's DAO now runs on its own network: Monad, Base, or HyperEVM, mainnet or testnet. This covers per-chain gas top-ups, voting periods adjusted for each chain's block speed, and HyperEVM's small-block gas cap. A test with the bot running on two local chains at once passed 50/50 checks.

• Rewrote both READMEs to match the current state of the project.

Next: the 18 external protocol integrations, one at a time, starting with Uniswap V4 on Monad. None are built yet. Several items have also never been live-tested:

• 8 of the 10 governance models

• the GuardWrapper end-to-end

• the Discord and Slack bots

• Base and HyperEVM deployments
