Protean

Governance & DAOs
Nigeria

About the project

Protean is the governance layer for social messengers. It brings programmable, onchain governance mechanisms into the platforms communities already coordinate on — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and Slack — letting communities create and operate DAOs through the interfaces they already use. Protean allows online communities to deliberate, propose action, vote on and execute it inside their group chat; it allows them to manage a collective online wallet and execute any transaction on/offchain.
