Week 1 — Governance Infrastructure
This week, we completed the core smart-contract development for Protean.
What We Completed
Completed all core governance contracts.
Completed the Forge test suite for the contracts and their key execution flows.
Completed the deployment and interaction scripts.
Tested the core governance lifecycle locally, including proposal creation, decision-market execution, finalization, and liquidity reclamation.
Established the on-chain foundation that will power Protean's social governance interfaces.
The contracts are currently ready for the next stage of development and on-chain deployment.

The goal is to allow communities to interact with Protean's on-chain governance mechanisms directly from the platforms they already use—creating proposals, participating in governance, viewing governance outcomes, and executing governance actions without leaving their existing communication environment.
This week was about building and testing the governance engine. Next week is about bringing that engine into the social environments where communities already coordinate.
So I just finished coding the largest Solidity contract I have ever designed (me and my agent, of course). 2 months of research, 2 weeks of designing and testing. It's an eleven-governance-model library with a minimalistic version of most well-known, widely used governance
