Day 13 of 28.
Hyphae is a proof-of-contribution layer for token communities. Members do real work, an AI scores it against public guidelines and shows its reasoning, and each epoch's scores get committed to Solana as a merkle root anyone can check.
Two days ago I said "not live yet." It's live now. The bot runs in production, the first real wallet signed a /link and got verified, and MYCEL's first epoch is open.
What landed:
The hands-on wallet check paid off. It found two bugs before any member did: no real wallet could sign the link message, and an error log could leak the bot token. Both were fixed test-first and the token was rotated.
Payout gates. To get paid for an epoch you need points, a verified wallet at close, a pass on a six-question rules test (/rules, in a private chat), and you must hold the token. Holdings are checked through Organic's Sentinel SDK. A reading the system isn't sure about never counts as "doesn't hold". It gets retried.
The on-chain side. A Solana program with a vault per community. Each epoch publishes its root, the 3% fee is taken on-chain, and members claim with a proof that is recomputed from their own wallet. Each claim pays once and never pays past what was allocated. The allocation is exact integer math and adds up to the pot down to the last lamport.
A public audit site: community, epoch, leaderboard and contribution pages. A test checks that no private identifier leaves the API.
Numbers: 500 tests, up from 306. The Solana program is tested for double claims, wrong proofs, claims before publish and over-allocation. All 16 commitment hashes are reproduced independently with plain Python, which is the "anyone can check" part. I also broke the code on purpose to see if the tests would notice. Two breaks got through at first, and both now have tests.
Not paying yet. Epoch 1 is unpaid by design. Next: a devnet proof of publish and claim, then the first paid epoch.
