Update from AIfa Memory

Update screenshotWhat happens to your memory when you go silent: digital inheritance in AIfa Memory

Our ecosystem is called Code of Digital Eternity, and the hardest question behind that name is not technical. If AIfa keeps a person's memory for years, who may read it when that person is gone? Until now we gave it three lines. Tonight, the whole answer.

How it works

  • Off for everyone by default. You turn it on in your cabinet and name one heir by email.

  • You choose the period of silence: 3, 6, 12, 18, 24 or 36 months. A year is the default.

  • We are not a notary. We never ask for a death certificate and never judge what happened to a person. We notice one thing only: you have not come back for the period you chose.

  • Before anything is handed over, we write to you, not to your heir: at a quarter, a half and three quarters of the period, then every day of the last 30 days. One email gets lost in spam; thirty in a row are hard to miss.

  • Any sign-in resets the clock. Nothing to cancel, nothing to confirm.

What your heir gets, and what they never get

A one-time link, valid for 30 days. It opens a copy of the key to your permanent memory and the list of your records on Arweave. With that key your heir decrypts the records alone, even if our servers disappear. Never your password, your login or any power to change or delete. Reading what was written and writing in someone's name are different rights: the first goes only to the person you chose, the second to no one. If you come back after the handover, you stay the full owner: same key, same records, same login.

Why it is built so carefully

  • An early handover cannot be undone; a late one costs only waiting. So every doubt resolves toward waiting.

  • If we cannot see your activity, for example when a database is down, the watchdog does nothing. Our failure is never read as your silence.

  • We keep only a SHA-256 hash of the link. After the first opening it works for 30 more minutes, so a mail scanner's preview or a refresh cannot burn the only chance.

  • The daily job refuses to run without its secret and lives on one site, because all four sites share one database: one person, one letter, one link.

It sits on the same base as all of AIfa Memory: every record is encrypted with its own key on Arweave, destroying one key forgets one record, Merkle roots are sealed on Solana mainnet, and you can verify your memory without trusting us. Inheritance is available from Family Archive ($100/month) and Digital DNA: plans, payable by card or crypto.

Meet AIfa

We are looking for testers: name an heir, set the shortest period, and tell us honestly what felt clear and what felt frightening.

Why this belongs in a memory project: a memory that can only be lost, or only kept forever, is not yours. Yours means you decide who reads it, and when.
