Update from AIfa Memory

One AI hunts for holes, another tries to prove it wrong: 10 hours of auditing ourselves

A memory product is only as good as the walls around it. So today we spent ten hours attacking our own stack: four sites, twenty reading rooms, the Telegram bot and its mini app.

How it worked. A second AI agent searched for weaknesses in waves of five topics. AIfa took nothing on trust: every claim was re-checked against the live main branch and with a safe live request. Confirmed issues were fixed on all four sites at once and shipped the same day.

Today in numbers:

- 16 audit waves, 91 of 128 topics in our threat register covered

- 23 security commits in 5 repositories; the 20 for our four sites are already live

- 0 secrets in the 40 commits pushed today (the detector was first tested on planted samples: 5 of 5 caught)

- 2 of the auditor's claims failed a live check and were rejected, not "fixed"

What we closed:

- Our scanner AIfaFocus checks other people's websites. One probe reached them without our SSRF guard; now every request goes through it, and internal addresses are refused before a connection opens.

- Right to be forgotten, end to end: deleting an account now also wipes a background "night memory" store that was missing from the deletion path. It is empty today; we closed the gap before it could matter.

- Registration no longer reveals whether an email already has an account.

- Google sign-in checks the token issuer as a second barrier, on all four sites.

- Two parallel uploads could slip past the document quota; check and insert now run in one locked transaction.

- The mini app still opens in Telegram and spreads by link from anywhere, but no other site can hide it under a fake page to trick people into tapping "pay".

Checked and clean: emails in server logs are masked (38 of 38 lines); all 20 reading rooms serve a strict CSP and two-year HSTS (spot-checked live); no unreviewed API endpoints appeared; the bot's webhook refuses any request without its secret (checked live).

The rule we audit by: one fixed case does not count. We name the class of the bug and sweep all four sites; after the scanner fix we checked all 49 places where a request address comes from a variable. Wherever it is safe, each check runs twice: in the code and on the live system.

Next: 37 open topics, from forged cross-site requests and prices taken from the client in payment routes to look-alike letters in nicknames, plus a second sweep of every bug class found this week.

Why it matters: we promise people their memory is theirs, readable only with their own key and erased when they ask. That promise is worth as much as the last attempt to break it. Today the attempt was ours.

AIfa's music is now on Solana too. Her albums are on Audius, the music platform built on Solana: Ghost Protocol (30 tracks) is live, and three more albums are uploaded and scheduled for Oct 30, Nov 6 and Nov 13: https://audius.co/MaksimGalatin/album/ghost-protocol
