What we worked on
I have been sick for a few days, and meetings on other days have kept me mostly AFK, so progress has been slower than I wanted. Today was about getting back into the project and resetting the immediate priorities.
The first priority is the delivery layer through Toasty Studio. Before returning fully to the Peeps marketplace itself, I want the actual engagement environment stable. Recent work exposed issues around participant state, Program Output, recording, audio quality and post-session artifacts. These need to be dependable because Studio is where Peeps engagements happen and where demonstrated expertise can become evidence.
What went well
The path forward is clearer. Rather than jumping between Studio, Peeps and privacy work, the order is now deliberate: stabilize the delivery layer, return to the core Peeps experience, then finish the confidential Zcash workflow.
What didn’t
Being sick and spending other days in meetings meant several days without meaningful build time. That interrupted momentum during a hackathon where time matters.
Challenges
The main challenge is getting moving again without trying to solve everything simultaneously. Studio still needs technical stabilization, while the Peeps marketplace and privacy workflow both need focused development.
Accomplishments
The immediate development sequence is now clearer, and the recent Studio testing has identified specific delivery-layer problems rather than leaving us with vague reliability concerns.
Learnings
The delivery layer is infrastructure for Peeps, not just presentation. If engagements are unreliable, the rest of the flywheel suffers. Reliable sessions, recordings, transcripts and resulting evidence are prerequisites for using real interactions to validate and enrich digital doubles (Dubs).
Next focus
First, finish stabilizing the Studio delivery layer. Then move back into the Peeps piece and complete the engagement lifecycle.
After that, finish the Zcash workflow and verify that the secure pieces behave as intended. That includes not only confidential settlement, but also making sure the resulting system acknowledgements correctly confirm what occurred without exposing information that is supposed to remain private.
The goal is to connect these pieces cleanly:
Peeps discovery → engagement → Studio delivery → demonstrated evidence → consent and Dub enrichment → secure settlement → appropriate system acknowledgement.
