We've got users coming it to our BLADE POOL already.
Feels good, but not good enough.
Going forward, now that the MVP is out and in product, I can split my time differently:
20% building
20% post Breakpoint planning
60% user acquisition
Building
Need to build out a form that allows anyone to setup a mutual. Also need to improve the existing flows for jurors as well as the flow to submit a claim. Lots of testing, lots of fine-tuning of UX and UI.
Post Breakpoint
Once the pilot is over, there are more steps to go to make this a real product, let alone finding PMF. THe purpose of the pilot is really only to get people to realize and see what this is in theory useful for - though, we decided to go a "fun" and "weird" way first. What follows will be way more serious. Three items on our todo list for dealing with regulations in a good way. Spec'ing out a real insurance that can take in external risk-capital ... and so much more
User Acquisition
despite all the work we need to do post breakpoint, our focus right now is to make our BLADE POOL pilot a success. The more users entrust us with their 10-40$, the more we succeeded. Personally, i would prefer Breakpoint being peaceful, so no one has to see how the claims process really works - but it's there and it will work as expected.
As for bringing more people in, we are already running our campaigns on Twitter/X, are talking to every peer in our network and have the opportunity to bring sponsors in for certain groups. We are still in negotiations and hope to bring our first sponsor in real soon.
