Update from EV Protocol

Update # 30

More drivers than EVs

One thing has stayed the same since the pilot began. Drivers keep asking for an EV to run, and there are more of them than EVs available.

Why this matters to us

Drivers are the people who use the fleet every day. If they come back, month after month, it is because the EV works for them as a way to earn. That is the part we watch most closely, because every other number depends on it.

What it looks like on the ground

1. Many drivers come to us wanting to drive

2. Each driver is assigned an EV in advance and often runs it for months

3. When an EV rests for a fault, the driver is not charged the daily fee for that day

4. We cannot place everyone who asks, because we do not have enough EVs

What we do not claim

Demand is not the same as success. More EVs also means more depot work, more repairs and more careful records. We would rather grow slowly and keep the numbers honest.

Where we are with the rest

1. evSky is on devnet. We hope to move it to mainnet in the next few months, which is a target and not a promise

2. Anchoring each closed month of fleet data on Solana is in progress, not live yet

3. A signed GPS device is planned, not built

4. We are preparing to be on Backable and will share details when they are ready

5. No token exists today and no funds have been raised. If anyone offers you an EV Protocol token, it is a scam

Thank you to the drivers and to everyone following along.
