Update from DevFridge World

Fellow Colosseum builders: what happens AFTER you ship? 🍝

Getting someone to try your product is one challenge. Giving them a reason to return is another.

Ahead of DevFridge World's planned October 1 public opening, I've prepared a 14-part daily newsletter on Paragraph: 1st edition today September 25 at 17:00 Europe/Rome. It's a guided journey from playing our browser/Android meme game to understanding the infrastructure and building something for your own community.

If you're also building at Colosseum, I'd love to have you follow along, challenge our decisions and share what you're learning.

A small spoiler of what's coming:

• PLAY — A walkable 3D kitchen, ten meme characters and a physics-based merge puzzle. Learn to aim, drop, chain merges and chase the final tier. We'll explain character access through Solana timelocks separately from the gameplay itself.

• COMPETE — What TopShelf adds on Robinhood Chain, how seasonal rankings work, and why entering the paid leaderboard is optional. Ordinary gameplay has no per-run fee after character access is unlocked; leaderboard registration is a separate choice.

• BUILD — “Give your coding agent a game brief—not a blank prompt.” We'll show how the DevFridge Game Builder Skill helps turn a community idea into a customized game using the existing Solana program, SDK and access layer, rather than rebuilding the whole stack. Human review and testing still matter.

• LEARN IN PUBLIC — “Build the loop before the token gate.” Expect screenshots, practical walkthroughs, shipped features, playtest questions and lessons from our own hackathon journey. We're measuring completed first runs and returning players—not treating followers or token activity as proof that people play.

• EXPLORE THE NEXT STEP — Our DevFridge hackathon hub and community-game projects. This builder initiative is separate from the hackathons we're participating in; its event dates, rules and prizes are still to be announced.

The question behind the series: can your community become more than an audience—and have something worth coming back to?
