Canton Fair wrap-up: 140 factories onboarded, and QIMA will sign our attestations 🇨🇳
We committed to onboarding 25 factories at the Canton Fair. The fair closed with 140, all live on Bido’s supplier base, where our pilot customers can send them RFQs today. We’re still in Guangzhou, visiting some of them.
QIMA
On the fair floor we agreed a partnership with QIMA, one of the largest third-party inspection companies in Asia. We’re already onboarded as a QIMA client, and they’ve agreed to sign the milestone attestations on Solana. The contract is in progress.
What this closes
In our submission we described escrow release gated by an accredited inspector. QIMA is that inspector. T1 and pre-shipment results will be verified by an independent party both buyer and factory already trust, and the escrow releases against their signed attestation. PPAP sign-off stays with the buyer, via passkey.
