About the project

Conta is a self-custodial payments account on PIX, Brazil's instant payment rail. The balance sits in a wallet only the user controls, opened with a fingerprint, so no bank or creditor can debit it. Every screen is in reais and the chain stays invisible. In Brazil the bank debits what arrives before you decide what to pay, and 81 million adults are in default. Four months live: 1,434 users, $430.9k processed, gross-profitable, nothing spent on acquisition. Public ledger at ir.conta.vc.
