Apart from Ostium (one standalone perp DEX), RWAs and particularly equities haven’t really hit perps or at least not in Solana. Confidence in these assets is weak and thus leverage is low compared to crypto. Equities go through all kinds of corporate actions (such as splits, dividends, or M&A) which impact share price and this is something which incumbent oracles don’t account for. They offer real-time prices but lack the account-based context that can be crucial to a trade. As a result, onchain perpetual future derivatives (perps) or lend/borrow applications face a choice: lack confidence, accept manual pricing risk or exclude these assets entirely. Autonom is a specialized oracle for RWAs, factoring in for corporate action adjustments, enabling dynamic pricing on-chain.
