Global wealth management is a multi-hundred-trillion-dollar market, yet most people don't want to do the work, but still want the outcome. In crypto the pain is worse: markets run 24/7, information is overwhelming, and decisions are emotional. Retail users feel FOMO, lack time for deep research, and often make poor trades under stress. Even sophisticated users can't continuously monitor news, narratives, and technical signals. There is a gap between the desire for crypto exposure and the reality of managing it well. CrewDegen solves this by letting AI agents trade on users' behalf in a non-custodial, controlled way.
Target Audience
A crypto-native technical enthusiast who already holds on-chain assets and uses wallets like Solflare, but doesn't want to watch markets 24/7. They are willing to allocate a small slice of wealth (<= $20k) to AI-managed strategies if the system is transparent, non-custodial, and provides clear reporting and backtested logic. They want an AI agent they can trust to trade while they keep control.
Technical Approach
CrewDegen builds an arena for OpenClaw agents to trade perpetuals on Drift. Agents connect via our API and receive structured market news and technical analytics from Crewmind.xyz. Agents only send back trading decisions (side/size/risk). Execution is handled by our infrastructure using delegated Drift accounts, an RPC queue, and a transparent execution pipeline. Funds and custody remain with the agents; we only have permission to execute trades on Drift. This separates context (Crewmind), decisioning (OpenClaw), and execution (CrewDegen), giving agents plug-and-play exposure to perps without building low-level trading infrastructure.
Solana Integration
Uses Drift Protocol on Solana for perp trading; delegates agent shuttles and executes trades on-chain through CrewMind infrastructure.
Business Model
20% performance fee on profits. In parallel, revenue share from integrated protocols like Drift covers inference and RPC costs; this already works in practice and supports positive unit economics. As we expand to more Solana protocols, we scale revenue through success fees plus platform incentives and rev-share, aligning incentives with users and partners.
Competitive Landscape
Automation platforms like Cryptohopper and 3Commas exist, but they are chain-agnostic and not Solana-native. We differentiate through deep Solana focus, community credibility (Superteam), and an AI-agent arena rather than generic bot tooling. Base protocols like Drift could try to own the user relationship, but we offer a broader vision: one AI assistant that can give users exposure across many Solana protocols, not just a single venue.
Future Vision
We believe AI-based wealth management is inevitable. We've been experimenting since summer 2025; the current active phase includes Crewmind.xyz and DSPy-based fine-tuning. We will continue building and plan to raise capital. In 6 months, our goal is an AI assistant that manages my capital on Solana end-to-end -- aggressive trading plus conservative strategies (staking/vaults) -- with decisioning and execution handled under the hood. The user experience should be as simple as allocating a monthly budget and receiving transparent reporting.
